Biante Model Cars are very pleased to present the 1:43 Holden ZB Commodore V8 Supercar of Brad Jones Racing. The exclusive replica model as raced by Andre Heimgartner and Dale Wood in the Repco Bathurst 1000 of the 2022 V8 Supercars Championship.
New Zealander, Heimgartner was in career-best form after coming off a double podium finish at Pukekohe Park Raceway and on-track for his best V8 season finish to date. The racing Gods must have been crying for the last Bathurst battle between Holden and Ford as the heavy rain bought a slippery track and aggressive driving early on caused pure carnage! The chaotic day was interrupted by rain delays and eight safety car periods but made for a nail-biting conclusion.
Heavy rain on Saturday led to the Top 10 Shootout to be cancelled, so grid positions were achieved from Friday 's qualifying times. Starting 12 th on the grid, experienced co-driver Dale Wood was able to stay clear of the mayhem that unfolded just seconds into the race at turn 1. Unfortunately, Heimgartner was never able to make it behind the wheel when the #8 car was taken out by an out-of-control Mustang on Lap 6 that led to an emotional and abrupt end to the Great Race for the BJR team.
Produced in sealed-body diecast, the 1:43 ZB V8 Supercars are exquisitely-crafted collectables with fine detail, high quality and perfectly replicated decals.
